Director
George Savvides is a director at PCA specifically covering Greece and Cyprus. He has extensive experience in investment finance and investment management and an impressive record in corporate growth and profitability in various sectors.
As Principal, he was instrumental in financing two large projects in Greece through International Institutional Investors. The first, which he still manages, is a €1,2 billion tourist project (€25,0 million invested so far, financed by a London based private equity fund); the second is a €300,0 million shopping center (€110,0 million invested 2007-11), financed by another London based private equity fund).
In 1999 he participated in the first MBO (management buy-out) in Greece, in which a group of institutional investors acquired 100% of a food company.
George has a BA-Economics from New Jersey City University (Dean’s List and Cum Laude) and a MBA-Finance from New York University’s Stern Business School (James Nicholas Award). He has been a Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges (1980).
